Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategy
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing revenue cycle team
• Oversee coding, claims submission, reimbursement, and accounts receivable
• Manage patient intake services including benefit verification and financial counseling
• Partner with Market Access to maintain strong payer relationships and optimal reimbursement
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations (CMS, HIPAA)
• Leverage AI, ML, and automation to optimize revenue cycle performance and reduce denials
• Track and analyze revenue cycle KPIs and present insights to executive leadership
• Oversee annual budget and resource allocation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, healthcare administration, or related field
• 12+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management
• 6+ years of leadership experience building high-performance teams
• 4+ years of P&L responsibility
• Expertise in payer contracting and reimbursement methodologies
• Experience scaling revenue cycle operations in a growing healthcare organization
• Deep understanding of compliance including CMS, HIPAA, and Stark Law

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or MHA degree
• Experience in molecular diagnostics or precision diagnostics industry
• Passion for utilizing AI and automation to optimize systems
