Job description

Responsibilities

  • Ship 8–12 cuts per week including UGC reformats, hook variants, paid social cuts, podcast clips, and founder-led content
  • Move briefs to v1 in under 48 hours with an 80%+ pass rate on producer review
  • Execute briefs strictly following hook, hold, payoff, CTA, music, and pacing requirements
  • Repurpose single UGC submissions into multiple cuts with different hooks and angles
  • Maintain and organize the asset library for quick retrieval
  • Perform self-QA on audio levels, color, pacing, captions, and safe zones
  • Communicate asynchronously using Loom, written notes, and clear timestamps

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience editing paid social or short-form video
  • At least 2 years of experience with a DTC brand or paid social-heavy creator
  • A portfolio/reel including paid social cuts with documented performance
  • Expert level proficiency in Premiere or Final Cut
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in After Effects
  • Proven track record of working asynchronously with U.S.-based teams
