Vietnamese to English Life Science Translator

Responsibilities

• Translate Vietnamese (vi-VN) to English (en-GB/en-US) pharmacovigilance documents with accuracy and consistency
• Perform translation, copy editing, and machine translation post-editing (MTPE) tasks to meet quality standards
• Meet tight deadlines for time-sensitive projects, including overnight turnarounds for EU close-of-business submissions
• Work within the XTM CAT tool environment to deliver client-ready translations
• Maintain professionalism and responsiveness to ensure reliable assignment completion

Requirements

• Proven translation experience in pharmacovigilance or Life Sciences content
• Native-level English proficiency (en-GB/en-US) with fluency in Vietnamese
• Availability during US time zone business hours from any location worldwide
• Familiarity with CAT tools, preferably XTM
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines with sensitive medical content

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume, time-critical translation projects
• Specialized background in pharmacovigilance, medical, or pharmaceutical fields
• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in collaborative client environments
