Virtual Care Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Engage with members via chat, phone, and email to provide support on pet prescriptions and health
• Manage fulfillment requests, scheduling, and medical follow-ups
• Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge and offer recommendations
• Review medical records and document accurately using veterinary terminology
• Verify and process prescriptions and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Communicate with clinics and customers using various software tools

Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician licensed for a minimum of two years
• Successful completion of the VTNE
• 5+ years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery
• Advanced knowledge of patient care, surgical/dental procedures, and medical condition diagnosis
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (9:00am - 6:00pm PST)
• High-speed internet (minimum 100mb down/100mb up/ <10ms latency)
• Quiet, distraction-free home office environment

• Emergency and specialty experience
