Founded by the innovators behind PillPack, General Medicine is a national, tech-enabled medical group on a mission to make accessing care as seamless as the best consumer experiences. We are an early-stage startup building a clinical community that raises the standard for virtual primary care through telemedicine and intelligent technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide asynchronous and synchronous virtual care to patients
• Practice broad general medicine including urgent, acute, and primary care
• Guide patients through clinical decisions, labs, imaging, and specialist e-consults
• Maintain clinical ownership and continuity of care rather than transactional interactions
• Utilize AI-enhanced tools for intake, documentation, and coordination

Requirements

• MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses covering at least 40% of the U.S. population
• Multi-state licensure (priority in CA, TX, FL, and NY)
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week
• Availability to cover at least one weekend shift per month
• Eligibility to treat Medicare and Medicaid patients
• Clean record of practice with no sanctions or history of malpractice

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior telehealth experience
• Comfort with modern clinical tools and adaptive workflows
