Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Display Execution: Implement window displays, feature tables, gondola ends, and promotional setups according to visual plans and installation guides.
  • Daily Standards: Maintain daily visual standards, signage accuracy, and store cleanliness; perform regular walk‑throughs and corrective actions.
  • Merchandising Support: Assist with product placement, stock rotation, pricing checks, and replenishment to optimize presentation and availability.
  • Planogram Compliance: Follow planograms and merchandising directives; report deviations and suggest practical adjustments for store realities.
  • Campaign Roll‑out: Support seasonal and promotional roll‑outs, ensuring timely and consistent execution across stores.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Store Managers, Department Managers, Buying, and Senior Visual Commercial to align visual execution with commercial goals.
  • Inventory & Fixtures: Manage visual stock, props, and fixtures; report damage or shortages and assist with basic fixture maintenance and safe installations.
  • Training & Guidance: Coach store teams on basic visual standards and quick fixes to maintain presentation between formal roll‑outs.
  • Health & Safety: Follow safe working practices during installations, including ladder use, manual handling, and store safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years in visual merchandising, retail display, or a related role; retail store experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong eye for detail, good spatial awareness, and practical hands‑on ability to build displays; basic graphic sense for color, balance, and focal points.
  • Technical: Comfortable reading planograms and installation guides; basic use of hand tools and ladders; familiarity with POS and inventory systems is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Reliable, punctual, physically fit for manual tasks, and able to work at height when required; proactive problem solver with a collaborative attitude.
  • Communication: Clear verbal communication in English; ability to follow written briefs and report issues concisely.
  • Availability: Flexible to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays; able to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai for roll‑-outs.
  • Education: High school diploma required; diploma in Visual Merchandising, Design, or related field is advantageous.
