VP, Compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of affordable housing compliance operations across the Western region
• Develop and execute regional compliance strategies in alignment with organizational objectives
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, USDA Rural Development, HOME, and local housing programs
• Oversee compliance reporting, audits, agency responses, and risk mitigation efforts
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and standardize policies and procedures
• Serve as the executive point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and senior leadership
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing regional compliance teams
• Identify systemic compliance risks and develop long-term solutions to reduce exposure

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive affordable housing compliance experience
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing multi-state compliance teams
• Extensive knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, USDA Rural Development, and HOME regulations
• Thorough understanding of federal and state compliance regulations
• Experience interpreting complex regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of compliance reporting systems and technology
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred
