Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of target health plan accounts through direct outreach and strategic relationship cultivation
  • Close net new health plan deals with a heavy emphasis on value-based arrangements
  • Maximize Medicaid and Commercial Total Addressable Market (TAM) through Fee-For-Service (FFS) and Value-Based Care (VBC) contracts
  • Lead health plan contract negotiations to ensure competitive reimbursement rates and favorable terms
  • Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive threats to inform business strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related experience
  • 5+ years of success in business development and revenue creation within the healthcare payer business
  • Proven experience with Medicaid and Commercial lines of business
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset capable of navigating ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's-level degree (MBA/MHA preferred)
  • 10+ years of success in healthcare payer business development
  • Subject matter expertise in Behavioral Health or Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) domains
