Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of target health plan accounts through direct outreach and strategic relationship cultivation
- Close net new health plan deals with a heavy emphasis on value-based arrangements
- Maximize Medicaid and Commercial Total Addressable Market (TAM) through Fee-For-Service (FFS) and Value-Based Care (VBC) contracts
- Lead health plan contract negotiations to ensure competitive reimbursement rates and favorable terms
- Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive threats to inform business strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related experience
- 5+ years of success in business development and revenue creation within the healthcare payer business
- Proven experience with Medicaid and Commercial lines of business
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset capable of navigating ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's-level degree (MBA/MHA preferred)
- 10+ years of success in healthcare payer business development
- Subject matter expertise in Behavioral Health or Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) domains
