VP, Sales (Financing)

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute institutional crypto lending, borrowing, and financing transactions, including collateralized loans, margin financing, and repo-style structures.
• Build and scale the lending book by growing assets under loan and optimizing utilization.
• Develop and own relationships with institutional borrowers such as hedge funds, market makers, and corporate treasuries.
• Structure, price, and negotiate commercial and credit terms in partnership with risk, credit, treasury, and legal teams.
• Partner with risk and operations on counterparty onboarding, margining frameworks, and collateral management.
• Maintain financing pipeline hygiene and provide weekly revenue and activity reporting.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in institutional financing, securities lending, prime brokerage, or crypto lending.
• Proven track record in originating and growing a lending book.
• Existing network of institutional borrowers and lenders.
• Deep understanding of collateralized lending mechanics (LTVs, margining, haircuts, liquidation, and credit risk).
• Strong commercial and structuring instincts with the ability to negotiate complex term sheets.
• Proficiency in English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
• High comfort level using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance origination and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a TradFi financing role with a demonstrated bridge into digital assets.
• Familiarity with risk/collateral dashboards such as Haruko.
• Knowledge of on-chain settlement and stablecoin mechanics.
