Vulnerability Management Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Vulnerability Management and Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program
• Direct vulnerability scanning activities across infrastructure, cloud, endpoints, network devices, and applications
• Establish vulnerability prioritization strategies using exploitability, mission impact, and threat intelligence
• Coordinate remediation activities across system owners, engineering teams, and ISSOs
• Monitor remediation progress and ensure vulnerabilities are tracked through POA&M and RMF processes
• Develop executive metrics, dashboards, and reports describing enterprise vulnerability posture
• Collaborate with incident response and threat intelligence teams to reprioritize vulnerabilities
• Support Federal cybersecurity reporting requirements and compliance with CISA Binding Operational Directives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise vulnerability management or cybersecurity operations
• Experience managing enterprise vulnerability scanning platforms
• Strong understanding of CVSS, KEVs, and attack surface management
• Experience supporting Federal cybersecurity programs under FISMA and NIST RMF
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or other Federal civilian agencies
• Experience with Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7
• Experience supporting Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) programs
• Familiarity with cloud security and Zero Trust initiatives
• Certifications such as CISSP, CySA+, Security+, or CEH
