Water and Wastewater Associate Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical civil engineering tasks including data collection, analysis, modeling, and design computations
• Conduct field investigations, sampling, and documentation under general supervision
• Use engineering tools such as CAD, spreadsheets, and GIS mapping to support design objectives
• Serve as an on-site representative to monitor construction progress and compliance
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, memos, and summaries
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• 1 to 3 years of relevant water and wastewater engineering experience
• Engineer-In Training (EIT) registration
• Eligibility for Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Proficiency with engineering tools and software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
