Water and Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical civil engineering tasks including data collection, analysis, modeling, and design computations
• Conduct field investigations, sampling, and documentation under general supervision
• Use engineering tools such as CAD, spreadsheets, and GIS mapping to support design objectives
• Serve as an on-site representative to monitor construction progress and compliance
• Prepare technical reports, memos, and summaries for clients and internal teams
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• More than 5 years of relevant environmental or civil engineering experience
• Experience with water/wastewater treatment, lift stations, or pump stations
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer
• Proficiency with engineering tools and software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
