Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, calculations, designs, drawings, and cost estimates
• Assist Project Managers in complying with project schedules and budgets
• Work with subconsultants and serve as Lead Designer on less complex projects
• Review calculations and design assumptions for quality control
• Provide technical input for proposals, including scope of work and budgets
• Lead fieldwork including surveying, GPS data collection, and water sampling
• Assist with construction administration, submittals, and construction reports
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for entry-level engineers and interns

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline
• 2+ years of water supply or wastewater engineering design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or PE License (or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in ArcGIS
• Prior experience in engineering consulting
