Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices
• Create website layouts and user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine technical specifications and requirements
• Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation
• Maintain, expand, and scale existing websites
• Cooperate with web designers to ensure visual design intent is met
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them to operations

Requirements

• Proven working experience in web programming
• In-depth knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or Ruby on Rails
• Solid understanding of web application security, session management, and development best practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems and Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and analytics tools
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) processes
• BS in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
