WHRD Window Protection Assessment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct an internal review of verification processes and protection approaches implemented by INGO partners
• Prepare an inception report outlining methodology and workplan
• Map the current end-to-end process from referral to case closure
• Conduct consultations with eight INGO partners to assess capacity and safeguarding measures
• Co-design and finalize an INGO assessment tool
• Develop practical protection guidance and capacity strengthening sessions
• Produce a summary paper with key findings and recommendations

Requirements

• Master's degree in social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, or international development
• At least 10 years of experience supporting multi-trust funds or global funds
• Proven experience in providing protection support to WHRDs and activists
• Experience in Women, Peace and Security and working in conflict/crisis settings
• Experience coordinating with civil society and INGOs
• Fluency in English and French

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting feminist assessments or evaluations involving vulnerable populations
• Knowledge of other UN languages
• Project/program management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP)
