Workday Financials Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end functional solution architecture across Workday Financials workstreams for public sector clients
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable Workday designs
• Lead architecture workshops and serve as the functional authority and escalation point
• Architect solutions addressing public sector complexity including ACFR reporting, GASB accounting, and encumbrance accounting
• Act as primary client-facing architect, communicating designs and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders
• Review and approve design documentation, configuration workbooks, and testing strategies
• Lead and mentor Functional Leads and Consultants across Financials workstreams
• Participate in pre-sales solutioning, estimates, and client presentations

Requirements

• 10+ years of Workday Financials or enterprise ERP implementation experience, with 5+ years in Workday delivery
• Deep functional expertise in Workday Financials domains such as FDM, Core Financials, Grants, or Procurement
• Meaningful public sector implementation experience in state/local government, K–12, or federal agencies
• Demonstrated track record of designing complex solutions and presenting to executives
• Active Workday Implementer Certifications (minimum two, Record to Report required)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
