Imagine Worldwide is a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower millions of children with the literacy and numeracy skills they need to reach their full potential. We use personalized technology to demonstrate that children can become literate and numerate with little or no adult instruction.

Responsibilities

This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an African-based vendor to design, build, and deliver a competency-based learning ecosystem. The selected partner will:

• Conduct skills and capability audits to map existing gaps.
• Develop skill taxonomies and map roles against international competency frameworks (e.g., ISO 10015:2019).
• Create microlearning materials including professional micro-videos and active assessments.
• Provide a hosted Learning Management System (LMS) featuring guided learning paths and real-time analytics.
• Implement a strategic evaluation framework based on the Kirkpatrick Model.
• Ensure all digital content is optimized for low-bandwidth environments and mobile adaptability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8–10 years of expertise in capability-led learning design and workforce development.
• Proven experience delivering scalable, role-based training solutions within nonprofits or INGOs.
• Demonstrated experience operating within Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Ability to provide a hosted LMS supporting SCORM/xAPI, SSO, and a minimum of 120 concurrent users.
• Demonstrated capability in instructional design and digital platform security (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with micro-credentialing and digital badging (e.g., Credly-compatible).
• Existing field-tested content libraries that can be adapted to specific organizational contexts.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale organizational transitions to competency-based models.
