Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own the full P&L and strategic performance of Careem Box across the UAE and Jordan, delivering market-level growth and profitability.
  • Define and execute high-impact market strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Lead commercial and strategic partnerships to unlock new demand channels and improve the value proposition for senders and couriers.
  • Drive operational excellence at scale: optimize delivery speed, reliability, cost-to-serve, and unit economics.
  • Influence cross-functional priorities by collaborating with Product, Data, Marketing, Growth, Finance, Legal, and Care teams to launch capabilities and remove barriers.
  • Leverage data and insights to monitor performance, identify trends, and guide strategic allocation of resources.
  • Represent Careem externally: build relationships with regulators, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to advance the business and ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2C tech, delivery, or logistics environments in fast-paced, customer-centric markets.
  • Proven track record of scaling operations and improving unit economics.
  • Strong experience establishing and managing commercial partnerships.
  • Familiarity working with Product and Data teams to launch market features.
  • Experience operating across multiple markets in the MENA region, preferably UAE and Jordan.

This role is based in the UAE and will lead operations across UAE and Jordan, partnering with cross-functional teams to scale the business regionally.
