Job description
Responsibilities
- Support the development, review, and enhancement of corporate and departmental strategies.
- Ensure alignment with government-wide strategic frameworks and national agendas.
- Assist in translating strategic objectives into measurable KPIs and operational plans.
- Monitor strategy execution and prepare performance tracking reports.
- Implement and monitor organizational excellence frameworks (e.g., EFQM or government excellence models).
- Conduct gap assessments and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Support preparation for excellence assessments, audits, and awards submissions.
- Develop performance dashboards and maturity assessments.
- Design and monitor KPIs aligned with strategic goals.
- Analyze performance data and provide insights to leadership.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
- Ensure compliance with government governance standards and policies.
- Develop and review policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Facilitate workshops and strategy alignment sessions with internal stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of innovation, excellence, and performance improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree is an advantage.
- Professional certifications in Excellence Models (e.g., EFQM), Strategy, or Project Management are preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Strategy and Organizational Excellence.
- Proven experience working within UAE government or semi-government entities is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of government excellence frameworks and performance management systems.
- Experience in strategic planning, KPI development, and governance structures.
- Strategic thinking and analytical capability
- Strong knowledge of excellence frameworks and performance models
- Experience in KPI design and performance reporting
- Policy development and governance knowledge
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines
