Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the internal communications strategy across Disrupt and its ventures, designing a roadmap that keeps distributed teams connected and informed.
  • Translate company strategy, leadership priorities and venture updates into clear, engaging, and actionable communications.
  • Own and evolve core channels (Slack, newsletters, intranet, town halls) to make them vibrant two-way spaces for information and feedback.
  • Plan and deliver key moments: all-hands, leadership updates, cultural activations and venture milestone communications.
  • Develop content calendars, storytelling frameworks and playbooks to ensure consistency and clarity across teams and ventures.
  • Build measurement and feedback mechanisms (open rates, participation, sentiment) and iterate communications based on analytics.
  • Coach and advise senior leaders and managers on effective, authentic communication.
  • Partner cross-functionally with People, GTM and venture leads to align internal comms with business priorities.
  • Experiment with new formats, tools and AI-enabled capabilities to improve reach, relevance and engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fast-growth tech or startup environments
  • Experience supporting dispersed or global teams
  • Familiarity with Slack, Notion, Miro, Slido and modern comms platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to design comms systems, rhythms and measurement frameworks
  • Strong storytelling and content development skills
  • Comfort working with leadership on sensitive or strategic messaging
