IT Specialist – Digital Transformation & IT Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor EN-WWF’s hybrid IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud) to ensure reliable connectivity, backups, and system performance.
• Act as account administrator for cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and coordinate with vendors and WWF global IT for migrations and rollouts.
• Administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory/Azure AD, SSO and MDM; manage user accounts, permissions and onboarding/offboarding.
• Provide timely technical support for staff, events, field sites and remote locations; maintain inventory of devices and licenses.
• Oversee software subscriptions, renewals and vendor relationships; document configurations, SOPs and access credentials.
• Support ERP implementation, integration with Microsoft 365/SharePoint and post-launch user support and training coordination.
• Maintain IT security controls (firewalls, endpoint protection, backups) and support compliance with UAE data protection and internal governance.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes; regularly test backup and recovery procedures.
• Recommend and implement technology improvements to enhance reliability, cost-efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
• 5–7 years of practical IT experience
• Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration
• Azure or AWS experience
• Active Directory / Azure AD management
• ERP support experience
• Network fundamentals (VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
• Backup & recovery knowledge
• PowerShell skills
• Knowledge of IT security and data protection

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Azure Administrator Associate
• ITIL v4 Foundation
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
• Relevant cloud or ERP certifications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo)
• Experience working in NGOs/INGOs or multi-site environments
