Job description

Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior strategic lead across assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and long-term growth.
  • Shape communications strategies, advise on positioning, anticipate issues, and lead narrative development and reputation management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and maintain proactive, high-quality client relationships.
  • Lead planning, execution and evaluation of campaigns and programmes to meet agreed KPIs and deliver measurable value.
  • Oversee team workload, mentor junior staff, and drive performance improvements across account teams.
  • Provide senior oversight of budgets, resourcing and commercial performance; ensure efficient and profitable delivery.
  • Support business development and identify upsell opportunities while keeping projects within scope.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (7–8 years) within communications/PR agencies, with senior account management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrable healthcare sector experience within the UAE/GCC preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect communications to business goals and commercial outcomes.
  • Commercial acumen including pricing, scope definition and profitability management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with ability to engage senior client teams.
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with project tracking tools such as ClickUp.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, with a focus on mentorship and skills growth.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UAE.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or related field.
  • Background supporting both public and private sector clients across the GCC.
  • Bilingual English/Arabic is highly regarded but not essential.
