Job description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales Team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Manage a team of individual contributors to ensure customer success pre-sale.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new hires to ensure proper ramping of skills and capabilities.
  • Enable your team to support all required Datadog solutions along with key technical and soft skills.
  • Develop close working relationships with Product Management, Support, and Enablement to ensure continuity between pre- and post-sales activities.
  • Deliver semi-annual performance reviews and collaborate on individual development plans.

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years in a Sales Engineering team lead or mentorship role.
  • 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or equivalent client-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop a team.
  • Experience with recruiting individual contributors and leaders.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and monitoring solutions.
  • Ability to build and execute evaluation plans with customers.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strategic and creative thinking on a wide range of challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Arabic is desirable.
  • Experience working in the MEA region.
