Job description
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales Team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
- Manage a team of individual contributors to ensure customer success pre-sale.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new hires to ensure proper ramping of skills and capabilities.
- Enable your team to support all required Datadog solutions along with key technical and soft skills.
- Develop close working relationships with Product Management, Support, and Enablement to ensure continuity between pre- and post-sales activities.
- Deliver semi-annual performance reviews and collaborate on individual development plans.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years in a Sales Engineering team lead or mentorship role.
- 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or equivalent client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to grow and develop a team.
- Experience with recruiting individual contributors and leaders.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and monitoring solutions.
- Ability to build and execute evaluation plans with customers.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strategic and creative thinking on a wide range of challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic is desirable.
- Experience working in the MEA region.
