Job Description
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑parts operations including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, parts counter sales, and distribution to workshops and dealers.
- Develop and execute parts stocking strategies to balance availability, working capital, and obsolescence; set and monitor reorder points and safety stock.
- Lead parts sales growth through pricing strategy, promotions, upsell/cross‑sell programs, and improved counter conversion.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms, lead times, and warranty parts agreements with OEMs and aftermarket vendors.
- Implement and maintain accurate parts cataloguing, SKU management, and parts identification standards.
- Oversee parts receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and dispatch processes to ensure timely delivery and minimal errors.
- Drive ERP/IMS usage and data accuracy for stock levels, GRNs, returns, and warranty claims; produce regular inventory and sales reports.
- Control shrinkage and stock variances through cycle counts, audits, and process improvements.
- Coordinate closely with Service, Warranty, and Workshop teams to prioritize critical parts and expedite urgent orders.
- Prepare and manage parts budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews; report KPIs such as fill rate, stock turn, days of inventory, and parts revenue.
- Recruit, coach, and develop the parts team; set clear KPIs and enforce safety and compliance standards in the warehouse.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in automotive parts management, distribution, or aftermarket operations; minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record in inventory optimization, parts sales, supplier management, and warehouse operations.
- Strong experience with ERP/IMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Autoline, or similar) and MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of OEM parts processes, warranty parts handling, and parts cataloguing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Valid UAE work authorization; UAE driving license preferred.
