Physical and Health Education Teacher (FEMALE ONLY)

Responsibilities

• Model and support a learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation.
• Ensure that students reach the expected age-related outcomes for Physical and Health Education.
• Gain an understanding of working with Arab youth who will study Physical and Health Education in English.
• Create a positive, active, language-rich learning environment.
• Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives.
• Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner.
• Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance.
• Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-time teaching experience in schools for expats
• 2+ years full-time teaching experience in schools if the candidate possesses one of the following: MOE teaching License, B.Ed; M.Ed; NTS;PGCE (QTS not required); PGDE; H.D.E; H.E.D; DELTA (Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training); CELTA (Masters level only); TESOL (Masters level only)
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Sports Management, Health Promotion
• Excellent English proficiency
• Age limit: Up to 45 years old
• Gender: Female
