Senior Compliance Analyst, Dubai

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop compliance policies and procedures aligned with UAE and international standards.
• Lead mapping, refinement, and operationalization of KYC and KYB onboarding processes for individuals and corporates.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, business-wide and quarterly risk exercises, and translate outcomes into controls and action plans.
• Support AML/CTF program implementation and ongoing maintenance, including monitoring and incident response.
• Oversee QA review processes to ensure casework accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and assist with regulatory reporting and inspections.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Operations, and Engineering to embed compliance into scalable processes.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance, KYC/KYB, and AML/CTF matters.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience
• KYC/KYB ownership
• AML/CTF expertise
• VARA knowledge
• FATF standards
• UAE regulatory experience
• Risk assessments
• Regulatory reporting
• Strong communication
• Professional certification

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMS, ICA, CRCMP or equivalent certification
• Prior engagement with VARA or UAE Central Bank inspections
• Experience embedding compliance in fintech/virtual asset environments
• Hands-on experience with customer risk rating and EDD models
• Experience with remediation projects and thematic reviews
