Senior Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain internal compliance manuals, policies and procedures focused on AML/CFT and counter-terrorism financing.
• Support the MLRO to ensure OKX UAE complies with local and international regulatory and legal responsibilities, including VARA guidance and industry best practice.
• Monitor and resolve AML/CFT cases and support ongoing investigations and remediation activities.
• Prepare and respond to legal and regulatory requests and liaise with law enforcement agencies and external partners.
• Provide advice and guidance on AML/CFT matters to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, Risk).
• Prepare OKX UAE for independent AML/CTF and compliance testing and audits; coordinate audits and remediation plans.
• Deputise for the MLRO as required: assess and document internal suspicious activity reports and escalate to relevant authorities where appropriate.
• Oversee compliance reviews and internal investigations and prepare regular compliance reporting for management and the Board.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent
• CAMS or CCEP
• Prior MLRO/Deputy MLRO in fintech or crypto
• Proven AML audit/investigation experience with regulators
• Experience preparing firms for independent AML/CTF testing
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory environment and VARA processes
