Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive reviews of customer onboarding cases ensuring KYB principles are applied consistently with the company KYB policy and customer risk assessments.
  • Review and validate KYB documents using validation tools and reputable sources to verify AML documentation.
  • Request and follow up on appropriate CDD/EDD documentation to ensure AML onboarding is complete and in line with policies and procedures.
  • Manage follow-ups on pending CDD/EDD requests and ensure communications meet SLA expectations.
  • Investigate potential matches from screening applications (sanctions, PEPs, adverse media) and take appropriate action.
  • Provide management with information and escalation on AML/CDD issues arising during reviews.
  • Maintain high-quality service levels to customers and internal teams; escalate where appropriate.
  • Support enhancement of the CDD function, maintain procedures, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Manage and support CDD-related projects as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience in AML, CDD/EDD or KYC-related roles.
  • Familiarity with sanctions screening, PEP screening and adverse media investigations.
  • Experience using validation and AML screening tools.
  • Knowledge of AML policies, customer risk assessments and enhanced due diligence practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
