Job Description

Ajax Systems is hiring a Business Development Manager focused on Fire and Life Safety products to operate from Dubai, UAE. The role combines technical knowledge of fire systems with B2B sales, partner development, and market strategy to grow Ajax's presence across the UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan for the UAE aligned with company objectives and market trends.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners across the region to ensure coverage in key markets and verticals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's growth strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders at executive level.
  • Conduct market research and analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and technical demonstrations to potential clients and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in fire and life safety or related industry
  • Proven UAE sales experience, operating from Dubai
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire systems
  • Full sales cycle experience (prospecting to closing)
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and market research skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and IoT in electronic security
  • Conversational English and Arabic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with security manufacturers or integrators
  • Background in video surveillance or smart home solutions
  • Channel development and partner management experience
  • Experience with enterprise/public sector procurement and tendering in the UAE
  • Existing UAE industry contacts and networks
