Job description

Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Own department sales targets and KPIs; analyze daily and weekly sales data and implement corrective actions to meet goals.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and develop department staff; set clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure high standards of customer service; manage escalations and resolve customer issues professionally and promptly.
  • Merchandising and Visual Standards: Execute merchandising plans; maintain product presentation, pricing accuracy, and promotional displays to brand guidelines.
  • Stock and Inventory: Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment and transfers, perform regular stock counts, and minimize shrinkage.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure adherence to opening/closing procedures, cash handling, health & safety, and company policies.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare department reports, assist with payroll and scheduling, and support store management with ad hoc operational tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in retail with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role; experience in the relevant product category is an advantage.
  • Skills: Proven ability to drive sales and coach teams; strong customer service orientation; good numerical and analytical skills for sales reporting.
  • Technical: Comfortable using POS systems, inventory tools, and basic MS Office (Excel) for reporting.
  • Personal Attributes: Organized, decisive, resilient, and able to work under pressure; strong communication skills in English; collaborative mindset.
  • Availability: Flexible to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays; able to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai when required.
  • Education: High school diploma required; diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
