Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic partner to divisional heads/MDs across countries, aligning people strategy with business goals
  • Translate strategy into workforce planning, budgeting, and organizational design initiatives
  • Lead org mapping and structure optimization to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Own workforce planning and budgeting for back-office and frontline teams across markets
  • Drive org effectiveness: role clarity, spans and layers, and succession planning
  • Oversee store openings/closures ensuring smooth people transitions and compliance
  • Manage National Graduate Programme and develop high-potential talent
  • Oversee the performance management cycle and build capabilities with L&D/HR COEs
  • Facilitate coaching, feedback, and leadership development interventions
  • Lead engagement initiatives, run surveys, and implement action plans to boost retention
  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and a culture of belonging
  • Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters confidentially and fairly
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal policies; maintain a positive workplace
  • Lead rewards/recognition and ensure competitive, equitable compensation practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience with strong HR Business Partnering exposure in regional/multi-country roles
  • Proven experience in organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, employee relations
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Experience in matrixed, multicultural environments; GCC/UAE labour law familiarity
  • Data-driven, analytical, and adept at translating business needs into people initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Retail industry experience
  • Experience leading engagement surveys and rewards programs
  • Coaching and leadership development facilitation
