Job description
Responsibilities
- Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurant and retail partners across Abu Dhabi and surrounding UAE areas.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline by being a category-level expert on food, retail and customer missions.
- Communicate Deliveroo's technology and value proposition through in-person visits, calls, email and social channels.
- Oversee partner onboarding to ensure a fast, efficient and seamless launch experience.
- Drive partner success during the critical first eight weeks after signing.
- Attend industry meetups and events to represent Deliveroo and generate leads.
- Work to monthly KPIs: number of partners signed and partner performance in the first three months.
Requirements
- 2-3 years sales experience
- Demonstrable prospecting skills
- Proven closing ability
- Negotiation skills
- Commercial acumen
- Product and industry knowledge
- Target driven
- Interest in food
- Tenacity and motivation
- Abu Dhabi-based or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the restaurant or retail sector
- Experience using CRM tools and sales workflows
- Previous experience onboarding merchants or partners
- Familiarity with delivery economics and partner P&L dynamics
