Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement sales plans for your assigned territory by forecasting and exceeding quota
  • Manage a high-velocity SaaS sales funnel using a mix of inbound and outbound leads
  • Track and manage opportunities through CRM and supporting tools
  • Collaborate and improve the sales cycle involving product, support, and sales engineering
  • Promote and work with the Partner ecosystem
  • Convey Sysdig’s key value drivers and differentiators to prospects and customers
  • Understand the competitive market, including key competitors and their offerings

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT Enterprise Sales experience, especially in security (SaaS/cloud/Kubernetes/containers, open source, APM)
  • Proven record of exceeding sales targets
  • Quick learner of new products/processes
  • Salesforce and Clari experience
  • Strong verbal/written communication; team player
  • Willingness to travel to support client relationships (if needed)
  • Entrepreneurial drive and "get it done" attitude
  • Experience working with multiple pipeline sources (LDR, SDR, ISR, Channels)
  • Ability to cross-collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and other units
  • Capability to leverage a C-level network for high-level conversations (CISO)

Preferred Qualifications

  • SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt new business in greenfield territories
  • Knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger sales methodologies
